Frequently Asked Questions 

What equipment do I need?

 

Warm and waterproof snowsports clothing is essential, protective equipment is advised (eg. Helmet and impact shorts). A suitable size and condition snowboard, boots and bindings. If you are hiring, this is not a problem but if you have bought or borrowing someone else's kit, please get in touch to see if it is suitable prior to your lesson. 

Please note: all lessons require you to have a full Espace Killy lift pass unless stated otherwise. Beginner group lessons won't require a lift pass on their first day.

 

What is included in the lesson price?

 

Professional coaching to best suit your needs, video analysis if necessary or requested and any snowboarding related advice you require. 

Please note: Lift pass, insurance, hire equipment or any other holiday expenses are not included. 

 

Terms and Conditions

General

By booking a lesson with Freedom Snowboarding you agree to all the terms and conditions set out below: 

 

 - All prices quoted are for 'Coaching only' (unless stated otherwise). Please note you will need to pay for everything else separately. (lift pass, accommodation, equipment hire etc)

 

-Freedom Snowboarding does not take any responsibility for loss, damage or any injury that occurs during the lessons. Although we will minimise these factors, snowboarding is an extreme sport. 

 

-Freedom Snowboarding reserve the right to refuse entry to lessons to any guest under the influence of alcohol, drugs or for any other reason we deem fit. No refund or credit is offered in this instance.

 

 

 

 

Reservations

All inquiries of lessons will be held for 24 hours from receiving the initial correspondence. Reservations are only confirmed on receiving payment in full, no reservation exists until you have received a confirmation email of your booking. All Clients are advised to double-check the time and date of the booking before making payment. 

 

Cancellation

Due to the nature of the sport, weather conditions and potential resort closures Freedom Snowboarding has a no-refund policy. 

 

Insurance

Freedom Snowboarding does not offer any insurance and we recommend all clients purchase insurance before arriving at the resort for on and off-piste snowboarding, equipment loss or damage, and lesson cancellation. 

 

Group Lessons

Groups lessons will always run and will not be cancelled due to lack of numbers. However, if there are fewer than two people in a group, the course will run for 3 days rather than 5. The cost will remain the same.

 

Privacy Policy 

Freedom Snowboarding will not store any credit card details and as such an additional payment card details/payment will need to be made again by yourself.

By booking a Freedom Snowboarding lesson you agree that any pictures/videos taken can be used by Freedom Snowboarding for social media, website or any other marketing purposes. If you do not wish for us to do so, please let us know when booking.
